Alexey Sonar

Alexey is a DJ, radio presenter, promoter & producer. Alexey’s music career started with his conquest of native city, Murmansk (Russia). As a presenter on Murmansk’s Power Hit Radio since 2005 and playing party after party, Alexey waited for his nationwide break. That break came in 2007 in the form of all-Russian competition ‘DJ Red Devil Battle’ in which Alexey ranked first runner-up. He has since played Red Devil SoundTrek events with the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Paul Oakenfold, Erick Morrillo & BT. The DJ battle also gave Alexey well-earned exposure to Vladimir Fonarey, one of Russia’s top DJ’s, and Alexey was invited to represent Russia’s largest booking agency & record label, Digital Emotions, in Murmansk. Alexey later moved to Moscow to become a resident of Digital Emotions.

Now with a cult following beyond both Murmansk & Russia, Alexey’s primetime electronic dance radio show, «Asphalt», has exclusive guest mixes by international names and broadcasts across Russia, The States, The Netherlands, South Africa, Thailand & more. Alexey is also a resident of Megapolis FM, acclaimed Moscow radio station, of which he says: “Every person at the party is a part of my world and I’m thankful for their support and love”. Alexey’s name can be found on posters for club & dance events across Russia and internationally, including Kazantip, renowned electronic dance music festival, a project Alexey has participated in 4 years running. And thanks to Alexey, names such as Above & Beyond, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Cosmic Gate, Nadia Ali, Alex Gaudino, David Vendetta have been enjoyed in his native city.
